Family Catechesis

- Our mission is to help families strengthen and foster the catholic faith by putting God first in their daily lives.
  
  Family catechesis is a form of religious education that emphasizes the role of parents as the primary educators of their children in the faith, involving the entire family in the learning process. It recognizes that faith formation begins in the home and aims to support and strengthen families in their journey of faith.

  Family catechesis acknowledges that parents are the first and most important teachers of their children in matters of faith.

  How it Works:
  Monthly Sessions:
  Many programs involve monthly meetings at the parish, where families participate in catechetical sessions together or in separate age-appropriate groups.
  At-Home Activities:
  Families are given resources and activities to continue their faith formation at home throughout the month.
  Community Building Activities:
  Some programs include social and community-building events to foster a sense of belonging and support among families.
  
  In essence, family catechesis is a holistic approach to faith formation that recognizes the crucial role of the family and seeks to empower them to live and share their faith together.
